One of the ways of connecting with God is through His marvellous creation. Although, God is present everywhere, he is strongly felt in the beauty of creation, praising Him endlessly. God creation resounds with the sound of music and praise to Him. When I hear thunder and lightning strike, it reminds me of nature rising to glorify God, the entire creation partakes to sing His praise. We can hear it in clattering of heavy rain, the birds chirping and singing, the rooster crowing, the waves clashing, the wind whistling. I also feel God in the scent of flowers, the laughter of children, the cry of a baby, the smell of incense, the crackling of wood fire, the sound of the rainforest, the break of dawn, the morning chill, Petrichor of the first monsoon rain, the tropical heat, the snow-covered ferns and the orange purple horizon. All creation glorifying God will all its splendour.

This is just a little glimpse of all that God has created. Little do we know of God’s creation, considering we are habitants of just one tiny planet, that’s part of the enormous universe, that is constantly expanding. Everything working together in such great harmony is beyond human comprehension. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him (Colossians 1:16 ESV).

Consider all the marvellous wonders that God has created, those that you can see and imagine. Have you ever wondered, what is God’s masterpiece? What is it, that is so precious to God that He would give His life for, everything He has just to save His masterpiece, give every drop of his blood, trade places with the one that He highly cherishes? That masterpiece is YOU. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago (Ephesians 2: 10 NLT).

All this is nicely summarised in the hymn by Carl Gustav Boberg – How Great Thou Art
